Marking the centenary of the World Energy Council, this most prestigious and influential global event, hosted at the highest political level, welcomes leaders from all corners of the world as they come together to shape the future of energy.

The LIVE edition of the eventwill connect stakeholders worldwide in dynamic regional and global dialogueacross three days, on key themes including navigating the post-pandemic futureand building resilience amid disruption.

From 1 to 4 October, the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre is going to host the 9th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, one of the largest specialized convention and exhibition events in the oil and gas industry.
The 8th International Congress of Oil and Gas Industry Professionals, held as part of the Forum, will feature plenary sessions, specialized conferences, round table discussions, case contests, and scientific and technical meetings.
The architecture of the convention program is based on twelve thematic areas: automation, informatization of the oil and gas industry; gas distribution and gas consumption; youth policy; petrochemistry and ecology; energy security; import substitution in the oil and gas industry; LNG, gas engine fuel, CNG, LPG, APG; investment and financing; social and HR policies; technological development; global gas market; design in the gas industry.
The central event of the Forum will be the Plenary session "Strategic priorities of international energy partnership" involving participation of representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, leading Russian, international and foreign companies, educational and research organisations.

Russian International Energy Forum is the annual convention and exhibition event for the specialists of the fuel and energy sector. The key objective of the project is establishing a platform for the industrial corporations, state authorities and the scientific community to have a dialogue at. The concept of the Forum involves both the convention and the exhibition programs.
The Forum will be participated by Russia’s Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Government of St. Petersburg, and Russian Export Center JSC. Russian National Committee of the World Energy Council will support RIEF-2019 as well as many other Russian and international industrial associations and communities.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is an annual Russian business event for the economic sector, which has been held in St. Petersburg since 1997, and under the auspices of the Russian President since 2005 . Each year, more than 10,000 people from over 120 different countries take part.
The Forum brings together the chief executives of major Russian and international companies, heads of state, political leaders, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, departmental ministers, and governors.
The key purpose of the Forum is to provide a practical tool for business, helping to overcome the barriers, both geographical and informational, dividing Russia and other countries.
