Following the First Meeting of WEC Member Committies from BRICS countries, WEC Russia takes pleasure to invite you to join the live-stream of the Presentation of the BRICS Energy Research Cooperation Platform (BRICS ERCP) which will take place in Moscow on October, 15 at 11:00 (UTC). The BRICS ERCP will introduce its first studies, namely «BRICS Energy Report» and «BRICS Energy Technology Report», which are result of joint efforts of the leading experts from BRICS countries.

The First Meeting of the World Energy Council Member Committees from BRICS countries was held via videoconference on September 18, 2020 at the initiative of WEC Russia. The meeting took place following the agreements between BRICS Ministers of Energy on enhancing cooperation within the framework of BRICS Energy Research Cooperation Platform and with the aim of establishing a mechanism for consultations among BRICS representatives to international bodies and fora working on energy issues.

February 28, Moscow – Minister of Energy of Russia Alexander Novak met Christopher Fry, Secretary General of the World Energy Council. Alexander Novak noted the high importance of international cooperation within the framework of the World Energy Council, as well as significant work done over the past year by the Russian WEC National Committee (RNC WEC).
